bio.aligners. Straighter teeth, without the plastic.
Teeth straightening at home usually means one thing: petroleum-based plastic against your teeth 22 hours a day for months. bio.aligners aren't that. Ours are made from a plant-based, BPA-free material — independently tested, with results published by lot at the bio. Standard — and every case is designed by a UK-registered specialist orthodontist.
Indicative pricing. Final cost confirmed at your free consultation, based on your treatment plan.

Not a plastic aligner.
Clear aligners sit against your teeth and gums for 22 hours a day, for months at a time. Almost every brand in the UK — the ones you've heard of — makes them from petroleum-based plastic. We took a different route.
We're the only UK aligner made this way. We don't ask you to take that on trust — the material is tested by an independent ISO 17025 laboratory and every result is published by lot at the bio. Standard. That's the whole point of bio.: what touches your body, shown in the open.
Comparison reflects commonly advertised material practices across UK at-home aligner brands; individual providers vary. Compostability refers to industrial composting standards for the aligner material.

Who bio.aligners is for — and who it isn't.
Well suited
Clear aligners work well for mild to moderate crowding, spacing and gaps, minor bite issues, and teeth that have drifted back after braces. If your front teeth bother you in photos but your bite is broadly comfortable, you're likely in this group — most of the cases in our gallery above started exactly there.
Not the right fit
Severe crowding, significant bite problems, jaw discrepancies, or teeth with untreated decay or gum disease need in-person specialist care first. If that's you, we'll say so plainly at the consultation and point you in the right direction — we don't take cases we can't treat well.
The honest answer for most people is "probably suitable, but it depends on your scan" — which is exactly what the free consultation is for. No obligation, and if aligners aren't right for you, you'll leave knowing what is.
